Color contrast checker

Check text and UI colors against WCAG 2.2 AA and AAA, pick colors from your screen or a mockup, and get the closest passing shade.

Large text 24px

Body text at 16px should stay readable for everyone, including people with low vision.

Closest text color that passes AA: #B4610B

Pick colors from a mockup

How it works

  1. Contrast is computed with the WCAG relative luminance formula and rounded down, like auditors do.
  2. The suggestion keeps your hue and saturation and only shifts lightness.
