QR code scanner
Read a QR code from a screenshot, photo or your camera. See the link, Wi-Fi password, contact, UPI or Pix details before you act on them.
How it works
- The image is decoded on your device, by your browser’s built-in barcode reader when it has one, or by jsQR otherwise.
- Links are shown, not opened. Suspicious addresses (look-alike letters, hidden redirects, plain http) are flagged.
- Pix codes are checked against their CRC16 checksum, so a tampered sticker over a shop’s code is easier to spot.
Questions
Is the camera feed sent anywhere?
No. Frames are read in this tab and discarded. The camera stops as soon as a code is found.
It says no code was found.
Crop closer to the code, make sure it is in focus and not cut off at the edges, and avoid strong glare.
