Add a watermark to a PDF

How it works
- Type any text, in any language, or drop a PNG logo. The live preview shows the first page.
- Place it once in the middle or tile it across the whole page, which is harder to crop out.
- Watermarks follow each page's orientation, so rotated scans get them the right way up.
Questions
Why watermark a copy of my ID?
A line like "Only for the X bank application, 12 Oct 2026" across a passport or ID copy makes it much less useful to anyone who steals or leaks it.
Can the watermark be removed?
It is drawn into the page content, not added as a removable comment. A determined person with editing software can still cover it, so tile it over important areas.
